What are Storage Lockers & Catches?

Unlike home furniture, van lockers need positive catches, not just gravity, to stay closed while the whole vehicle is bouncing along at motorway speed — the last thing you want is crockery flying out mid-drive.
How it works
Sprung ball-catches, magnetic catches, or dedicated 'touch-latch' mechanisms hold doors shut under vibration, released with a firm push or pull rather than a handle.
Signs of trouble
- ⚠Doors swinging open while driving — check and replace the catch before your next trip
- ⚠Catch feels loose or doesn't click positively home
- ⚠Hinges sagging, causing doors to not sit flush enough for the catch to engage
