What is a Grey Waste Tank?
Collects the water from your sink and shower until you can empty it responsibly.

In plain English
'Grey water' is used washing-up and shower water — not sewage. It's collected in an under-slung tank so you're not tipping it straight onto the ground, and emptied at a designated waste point.
How it works
Waste pipes from the sink and shower drain by gravity into the tank. A valve underneath (sometimes called a 'blade' or 'gate' valve) lets you release it in a controlled way at a proper disposal point.
Signs of trouble
- ⚠Bad smells inside the van — usually needs a tank clean and fresh water flush
- ⚠Valve stuck or leaking — a common wear point
- ⚠Tank showing full sooner than expected — check for a slow leak

£100 – £350 fitted if the tank or valve needs replacing.
