What are Tank Level Sensors?
Tell you how full (or empty) your fresh and waste tanks are, without opening a hatch to look.

In plain English
Sensors on the fresh water, grey waste and sometimes toilet cassette give you a rough percentage on the control panel, so you're not caught out mid-shower or driving around with an overflowing waste tank.
How it works
Most use simple contact probes at set height intervals inside the tank, though ultrasonic sensors (which read through the tank wall) are increasingly common and less prone to fouling.
Signs of trouble
- ⚠Reading stuck at 'full' or 'empty' regardless of the actual level — contact-style sensors commonly foul with residue
- ⚠No reading at all — check the sensor's fuse and wiring connection first
- ⚠Wildly inconsistent readings between refills — the sensor likely needs a clean
